Lack of Blogness

Someone recently criticized my space here for being not nuch like a blog. I confess it's sometimes easier to post what I am reading and interested in than to write about it. I have been trying to focus what writing I do on my dissertation. My idea has been "if you are going to write, write the @$#@$#@$ thesis!" (that's me swearing at myself. sometimes I get really angry and wrestle myself to the ground.) I am not sure, however, that this is a correct approach. I think journalling is cathartic and good. I suspect it also gets the creative juices flowing (is creativity really a juicy liquid?) Anyway, I will henceforth attempt to write more self-indulgent meanderings such as this.
